I am a PhD student in the School of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I am currently working on a series of projects aimed at refining our understanding of ocean redox evolution on Earth. I am particularly interested in isotopic tracers linked to the cycling of manganese (Mn) in the ocean, in particular the stable thallium (Tl) and molybdenum (Mo) isotope tracers. My work includes constraining ocean oxygenation during the Paleoproterozoic, understanding the effects of burial alteration on Tl isotope signatures in sedimentary rocks, and reaction-transport modeling of trace element cycling in marine sediments.
